University of Cape Town (UCT) students came out in their numbers to take part in Rainbow Week, showing their support for a move to embrace inclusivity on the campus.
The events included panel discussions, art and film, a Pride march and a party, all designed to bring depth, insight, colour and fun to the celebration. The event, which ran from 8 to 12 October, was a joint effort between the Rainbow UCT committee and the Office for Inclusivity and Change (OIC). The aim was to emphasise to all UCT staff and students the diverse community in which they live, learn and work. Robyn Walker was there to capture all the special moments.
