Scholarships open in Brazil

Brazil invites students to apply for a scholarship through their exchange program for undergraduate students. This program is provided to selective developing countries which include South Africa. Brazilian government also offers 100 scholarships at the doctorate level for students in these selected developing countries to go and study in Brazil.

How to apply for the undergraduate program:

• You must be a South African citizen if applying from South Africa
• Candidates must present the Certificate of Proficiency in Portuguese for Foreigners (Celpe-Bras).

How to apply for the Doctorate scholarship:

• Candidates must present the Certificate of Proficiency in Portuguese for Foreigners (Celpe-Bras).

• Registration is free and made directly on the program page by completing a questionnaire for registration and sending of documents.
