The Growth Institute announces that we were successful in the acquisition of ten bursaries for black female candidates who matriculated in 2017. One of our corporate clients who prefer to be anonymous sponsors all ten bursaries.
Candidates must have passed the following Grade 12 subjects in 2017: Mathematics (60%), English 60%), and Physical Sciences 60%).
The bursaries will be awarded to candidates who wish to enrol for N1 Technical Studies. The N1 year is generic to all technical modules.
Part of the terms and conditions for the bursary will be that students must do practical work. Companies who do engineering-related work are invited to host the bursary recipients for the practical work requirement. There is no cost for such companies to host the bursary recipients because the bursary will pay each candidate a monthly stipend.
