Sales, marketing, and building & construction skills are growing in demand according to CareerJunction’s latest report on South Africa’s most in-demand skills.
The report, based job adverts published on their website over a period of 13 months, reveals which professionals are in high demand and which occupations are on the rise.
The report also indicates which occupations are on the decline or remain unchanged.
The reports says that sales representatives vacancies has increased by a whopping 25% in six months.
On the other hand, skills that have slowed in demand over the reported period are ICT, finance, business and management, and medical and health.
The ICT skills slow-down is anomaly since software development and programming skills continue to be the most sought after skill on CareerJunction.
The demand for admin, office and support, architecture and engineering, and manufacturing and assembly remains mostly unchanged.
